A small firm that does the whole job.

Eclipse is a New York City technology consultancy for offices. We started because most businesses were being served by two kinds of vendors — one that pulled cable and hung TVs, and one that managed laptops and email — and neither would take responsibility for the space as a whole.

We design and install the physical infrastructure, and we run the systems on top of it. That means when something breaks, there’s one team to call, and it’s the team that built it.

How we think about it

  • Design what you install.

A network planned on the floor plan is easier to support than one planned in the ceiling.

  • Say what you’d do.

Plain recommendations, including when the answer is “don’t buy that.”

  • Build for the next change.

Labeled, documented, and handed over, so future work doesn’t start from zero.

The founder

Ben Koevary

Ben has spent his career in IT and AV for offices — networks, conference rooms, cameras, and the helpdesk that keeps them working. He started Eclipse to be the one vendor that takes responsibility for the whole space.
